The Surfrider Foundation is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves and beaches, for all people, through a powerful activist network.

OʻAHU RESOURCE CONSERVATION & DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
Proceeds from the “Slow & Grow” t-shirt design go to support O’ahu Resource Conservation & Development Council (Oahu RC&D). They focus on improving the quality of life and promote sustainable communities and businesses through the management and conservation of precious natural resources and agricultural lands.
Oʻahu RC&D offers Hawai’i Women Farmers Network (WFN) connects women producers and ag professionals regionally and across the islands.
5% of proceeds from designs go to support local sustainability solutions focused non-profits.

Emily Matsuno helped bring to life the “Rise Above” and “Slow & Grow” t-shirt designs. She is a talented graphic designer currently based in Honolulu, Hawaii. She studied and worked in New York City where she worked for companies such as Sesame Workshop and Sir Kensington's. She currently works freelance and at Hawaiian Airlines as a digital designer.
PHOTOGRAPHERS
Mike Vidales is a creative specializing in photography and videography in Honolulu, Oahu. He is avid surfer, talented m=musician and a great family friend on Like a Local.
